The comfrey is in bloom and the bees can't keep away. Chopped some down today as an activator for the compost heap which is full to the brim with the woody remains for the purple sprouting broccoli.
It's great on the compost heap isn't it? Have you tried making it into weed tea - home-made plant food? I posted details on the Bean-Sprouts blog a week or two ago.
I would love to grow comfrey to make liquid manure, but have little spare space. I find that a bag full of stinging nettles have the same effect. "Phew!!"
