White light

January is such a bare month that I can't wait until I am back to planting seeds. It has been weeks and weeks since I have done any real work on the plot. As Dan Pearson discussed today in The Observer, the sight of a clump of snowdrops is a welcome sight right now that life is beginning to stir again.

Very true - I saw a few clumps peeking out in the park today and it brought a smile to my face. I love snowdrops.

And another sign of things beginning to grow again is weed appearing on the allotment - many more this year as it has been so mild I think.

Snowdrops give me hope that Spring is round the corner. In the last couple of days my tomato seeds have germinated in the propagator - that gives me such hope that the allotment season is nearly here. Happy gardening!
